Our overall goal at Pacocha Landscaping Services, Inc. is to produce healthy turf by practicing Integrated Pest Management (IPM). The strategy of IPM is to use "multiple tactics" in a compatible manner to maintain pest populations that are below levels that cause economic or unacceptable aesthetic injury without posing a hazard to humans, domestic animals, or other non-target life forms. Healthy turf will produce the best possible quality under a given set of growing conditions. In addition, healthy turf is usually less reliant on pesticides to achieve a desired quality.
Once you have the opportunity to experience the long lasting turf feeding that only a premium granular fertilizer can provide you will demand it as a part of your annual turf care program. Our team at Pacocha Landscaping Services, Inc. uses only the very best granular slow release turf fertilizers that provide the optimum seasonal ratio's of Nitrogen - Phosphorus - Potassium (N-P-K). Our best lawn fertilization program includes 5 applications throughout the growing season.
We highly recommend an annual pre-emergent crabgrass control application! This application is one of a select few ways to control the "dreaded outbreak" of crabgrass in a cost-effective way. As a part of our premium 5 application turf care program, we will include a single granular crabgrass control/pre-emergent application at the beginning of the season. We normally provide this application after your spring clean up has been completed and no further raking will take place. Although we highly recommend turf seeding/rejuvenation in the fall, be sure to let us know if you plan on performing a spring seeding so we can avoid this application. Please contact our office with any additional questions you may have.
This is where our company shines! We have the ability to maintain effective season long weed control by using the lowest amount of pesticide possible. Our broadleaf weed control process revolves around a thorough lawn inspection with each application visit (only available with our 5 application program). We utilize this inspection to evaluate your lawns broadleaf weed population at that given time. We will than apply a selective liquid spot or blanket weed control treatment using a premium herbicide - as needed.
If you have experienced grub related damage to your turf in the past, you completely understand the importance of this application. Grubs feed on your lawns root zone and create a situation where massive and expensive turf damage can occur. We highly recommend that all of our customers apply a single application of Merit (granular form) to their lawn every year. This one time application is usually performed between May and July (our discretion). After this application is applied and properly watered in (as instructed), you will have NO GRUB DAMAGE for a single growing season. We guarantee it!
This post-emergent lawn insecticide application is usually performed after insect damage has occured. We use this application when customers do not have Merit applied and later discover grub or sod webworm damage. Our service consists of a single granular insecticide application that is applied to all lawn areas and must be watered in for optimum results. This insecticide is very effective at eliminating sod web worm infestations and other root feeding insects.
Normally we utilize this non-selective and non-residual herbicide treatment (Round-Up, etc.) to eliminate unwanted vegetation that is actively growing. This application is performed upon request only.
We provide residential, commercial and industrial poison ivy removal. Our services include on-site noxious plant indentification, chemical control and/or manual removal of poison ivy.
This residual pre or post-emergent herbicide (Sahara DG) is a liquid application that is used to control many varieties of weeds, vines and brush. This non-selective herbicide is ONLY TO BE USED on non-cropland areas such as railroads, utility, pipeline and highway rights-of-way, utility plant sites, petroleum tank farms, pumping installations, fence rows, storage areas, non-irrigated ditchbanks, and other similar areas where bare ground is desired. This application has residual soil activity that can remain active for upto 6 months(rainfall and active ingredient mix rate dependant). This is a highly specialized application that is performed upon request only.
