You know it when you see it…………….
I mean to visit a place or have a new experience that really hit’s home. I was very fortunate to have had one of those positive experiences last year while visiting Arizona with my brother and our childhood friend who now calls the state home.
We had the opportunity to visit several beautiful small towns (Prescott Valley, Jerome, Sedona, etc.) , hiked through some great forested areas, and even walked along the southern edge of the Grand Canyon!
As a person that spends the majority of my time outdoors, Arizona sent my “mid-western senses” into overdrive! Being able to get up-close to different native plants (scrub oak, soaptree yucca, snakeweed, etc.), stand at the base of huge evergreen trees that have survived wild fire, was so awesome!
Just doesn’t get much better than to tread-lightly through such a beautiful part of our country and be able to take the memories and experiences home, to one day hopefully share with people we meet.
